The second quarter of 2022 saw interesting trends for the top 5 science games on the Android platform in the United States. Here’s a closer look at the performance of Merge Animals 3D - Mutant race, Jetpack Joyride, Plague Inc., Monsters: Laboratory, and Little Alchemy 2.

Merge Animals 3D - Mutant race from SayGames Ltd saw a decline in weekly downloads from 48.6K at the end of March to a low of 22.7K in mid-May, before rebounding slightly to 28.3K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 65.8K to 38.3K over the quarter.

Jetpack Joyride by Halfbrick Studios experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting at 13.1K in late March and dropping to 5.6K by the end of June. Weekly revenue also saw a decrease, peaking at $2.4K in mid-April and falling to $1.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users mirrored this trend, dropping from 86.3K to 55.1K.
